The SK Kits comprises of    a replacement element with heat exchangers built in.

There are 4 Options

Kit 1          Single High speed recovery coil in 28 mm
Kit 2         Single High speed recovery coil in 28 mm with 2.2 KW 240 volt AC element
Kit 3          High speed recovery coil in 28 mm combined with a lower speed recover coil in 22 mm (suitable   for Solar water heating or alternative heat source).
Kit4          High speed recovery coil in 28 mm combined with a lower speed recover coil in 22 mm (suitable for Solar water heating or alternative heat source), with 2.2 KW 240 volt AC element.

Wiring The cylinder for normal electrical heating.
The connections required are three core,  earth, live and neutral feeds with  a  cable size of not less than 2.5 sq. mm. Please ensure the earth is connected to the earth point provided.    The connection of the element to the 240 volt AC supply are completely standard and will not varry form the instructions supplied with a standard 200 Litre unit. element (see diagram supplied with the cylinder).

Further more we have provided a Thermostat for controlling the water temperature of the cylinder when used in conjunction with the heat exchanger coil(s). The connections for this are two standard spade connectors.
The connections required are three core,  earth, live and neutral feeds with  a  cable size of not less than 1.5 sq. mm.
Please ensure the earth is connected to the earth point provided.   

This switch is rated at 240 volts AC with a maximum current of 1.25 amperes and would be used for the control of a zone valve and pump. This switch which is mounted on the cylinder base is marked from
   Off , 1 through to 6
And the temperature range of these numbers is
approximately from 30º C (1)  through to  90º C (6).

Please Note: in the event of an element failure or coil failure 1.3 meters clearance is needed below the cylinder to remove the kit.
