Fireview is unique in the design of the combustion and air wash system. The main points are:-
A very long primary air intake channel allowing the incoming air supply to be heated by the body of the stove, thus introducing hot air (oxygen) which will promote the spontaneous combustion of volatiles in the fuel and smoke (Tars, Gasses & Creosote) i.e. they are burnt giving more energy to the room increasing efficiency, but most importantly keeping the Stove Glass & the flue ways cleaner.
The incoming air is fed into the combustion at the very top of the door aperture and very close to the single panel door glass (no projections as with double door stoves, where castings and door seals disrupted the air flow), forcing the hot air to wash down the double glazed stove window.
A high insulation firebrick or board raises the combustion temperature of the stove, (like a High Compression Car Engine), and promotes fuller combustion and the burning of Tars Gasses & Creosotes.
The Unique air flow in the fire box causes the incoming air to wash down the glass keeping it clean (like an air curtain), and into the fuel bed. As parts of the air stream break off in the upper section, mixes with combustion gasses giving full spontaneous combustion. (Also known as tertiary air)
With fresh fuel the most amazing "waterfall" of flames may be seen, as the combustion cycle continues, when the stove is throttled down lazy dancing flames can be seen, this is the burning tars, gasses, and creosote.
I know of no other product in the market place that combines all these features, to give such an amazingly efficient stove and flame show.
Fireview Has Leveling Bolts in the base or indeed legs to facilitate easy leveling and wobble free installation on un-level surfaces.
Fireview Has a small air wash bleed control situated on the air wash control allowing the appliances to be "tuned" for Length of burn time and differing chimney draw.
