Power Potential  -  I have estimated the water flow in January, and also in Mid April this year (2008).

The water Flow is likely to be between  215 Litres a second to 377 Mid winter. If a Archimedes screw turbine was placed to generate Power we estimate as per Graph below power of up to 5KW.  If this was used to heat the dwellings through a heat pump and underfloor heating, a 2KW compressor would satisfy all winter heating requirements, employing a power management system , would enable the dwellings to be independent from the grid if necessary.
